TAKING ACTION

faceyourfears

Overcome your fears by gradually facing them in small steps. In order to overcome your fears you need to gradually face them. The process of facing fears is called exposure. Exposure involves taking small, manageable steps to slowly and repeatedly face the things you fear until you feel less anxious.

For example, if you are afraid of dogs, start by looking at pictures and videos of dogs and gradually work toward the act of petting a dog.
